After a Google search for our day trip to Ballarat I choose Table 48 for lunch. I certainly enjoyed our meal. Will certainly be back with friends in the near future.

Visited on a Tuesday night and it was busier than expected but we still got a table straight away. The staff were all really friendly and gave some great recommendations on the meals. I decided on the BBQ pork ribs and my wife had the Chicken 48. The meals came out in a good time considering there was a few people there. The BBQ ribs were great, really tender and flavourful, the only thing I would like would be some more of the BBQ sauce, otherwise they were great. I'd rate them 4.5/5. My wife really enjoyed the chicken 48 as well. It was very tasty and quite a large serving. For dessert I went with the Lemon meringue tart. It was really good, not too sweet with a nice lemon tang. Overall a really great night out with good atmosphere and food as well as great service.

Beautiful food and wonderful service. The staff was very quick to attend the tables, clear finished plates and fulfill any requests. Our waitress Annie, in particular, was extremely warm, welcoming and radiated with a lovely joyful personality. She made the experience all the more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning customers!

We had chicken 48, bbq chicken and some oysters. Everything was fantastic and fresh! Wanted to try something other than steaks and Chicken 48 didn’t disappoint at all. It was creamy and perfectly seasoned. We really enjoyed our meal :)

Great food and service but noisy birthday bunch right in front of us. Couldn’t hear myself shouting Food and service were excellent. Unexpected and delicious. Lamb was so tender and delicious with the red wine sauce. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, beautifully cooked. My friend had chicken risotto which tasted really good. We were both happy with our choice of dinner venue

The GLW, and my sister Carlene Sinclair had to take Alexander B Monks Lauryn Coggins Monks out to Table 48 in Ballarat. Gus and the team are fantastic host's. The food is always amazing. Alev and Lauryn thoroughly enjoyed their vegetarian options. I sure next time they are on holidays from the states, we will be eating there again. This time, we were sitted on the more casual side of the restaurant. In saying this, it's only the decor, the service, and food are still of a high standard. Due to dietary requirements, we were accomadated with slight changes to our orders. I can say the pizza I had was the best ever. The prawn risotto was light and well balanced, and the spaghetti bolognese was gutsy full of flavours. The chocolate dessert was very light, a good way to finish a meal. If you are in Ballarat, give them a call, go for a meal, or arrange a takeaway. You will not be disappointed.

Chicken was good, service was thorough, as every man and their dog checked in on us but we would’ve enjoyed it more if the servers paid attention to who their peers had already checked in on and we could’ve had more time talking to each other and not the wait staff. Don’t let that discourage you though, I’d rather be over serviced than under! All of our table enjoyed their meals. The room is a bit noisy but in the good way where you’re not hearing the conversations of neighbouring tables but nor are you straining to hear your own companions.
